General Terms of Intermediation

1 Provider and Role

Korfu Reiten, owned by Simone Schmuck (hereinafter “Intermediary”), provides intermediation services for leisure and tourism activities on Corfu.

The services include in particular:

• Horse riding activities, lessons and riding holidays
• Sailing services, boat trips and similar activities
• Holiday accommodations
• Additional related services offered by local providers

Korfu Reiten acts exclusively as an intermediary and does not provide any of the services itself.

Korfu Reiten is not a tour operator within the meaning of package travel law.

2 Contractual Relationships

(1) By making an inquiry or booking, the customer engages the Intermediary to arrange one or more services.

(2) The contract for the respective service is concluded exclusively between the customer and the respective service provider.

(3) Korfu Reiten does not become a contractual party of the booked services.

3 Scope of Services

(1) The Intermediary provides in particular:

• Advice and selection of suitable providers
• Forwarding of inquiries and bookings
• Support in communication between customer and provider
• Provision of relevant information

(2) The execution of the services is solely the responsibility of the respective provider.

4 Separate Services / No Package Travel

(1) All services are arranged as individual and independent services.

(2) Even if multiple services are arranged (e.g. accommodation and riding), no package travel contract is created.

(3) No package travel within the meaning of applicable law exists.

5 Pricing and Payment

(1) Prices are determined by the respective providers.

(2) Payments are made either:

• directly between the customer and the provider, or
• via Korfu Reiten acting as payment intermediary on behalf of the provider

(3) If Korfu Reiten handles payments, it does so solely as a payment intermediary and not as a service provider.

6 Liability

(1) Korfu Reiten shall only be liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty in connection with its intermediation services.

(2) Korfu Reiten assumes no liability for the execution of the arranged services, including their quality, safety or availability. This is solely the responsibility of the respective provider.

(3) Liability for injury to life, body or health shall only apply in cases of intentional or negligent breach of duty.

(4) Liability for slight negligence is excluded, unless essential contractual obligations have been breached.

(5) Any limitations of liability shall also apply to representatives and agents.

7 Service Issues

(1) Any complaints or service deficiencies must be addressed directly to the respective provider.

(2) Korfu Reiten may assist in communication but assumes no responsibility for resolution.

8 Customer Obligations

The customer is required to:

• provide complete and accurate information
• disclose relevant conditions (e.g. riding experience, health issues)
• comply with the terms of the respective providers

9 Risk and Responsibility

• (1) Participation in activities such as riding or sailing is at the customer’s own risk.
• (2) Instructions given by providers must be followed at all times.
• (3) Korfu Reiten assumes no liability for risks arising from participation in such activities.

10 Final Provisions

• (1) German law shall apply.
• (2) Place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of the Intermediary, where legally permissible.
• (3) Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
